Report by Ekaterina Dmitrikova, adviser to the Iusland Law Office, at the VII International Conference of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union

Ekaterina Dmitrikova, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative and Financial Law of St. Petersburg State University, Director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Research on Control and Supervision Activities at St. Petersburg State University, Ph.D., Advisor to the Law Firm "Iusland", spoke at the VII International Conference of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The conference took place on November 21-22, 2024 in Minsk, Republic of Belarus. Among the invited participants and speakers were representatives of the highest judicial bodies of the Union member states and international judicial bodies, the Eurasian Economic Commission and executive authorities of the member states, scientists from leading scientific institutions of the EAEU, as well as practicing lawyers. Current issues of customs regulation and development of the internal market of the Union, protection of competition and regulation of government procurement, development of rule-making and law enforcement practice of the EEC and the Union member states were discussed.

Ekaterina Dmitrikova participated in the session “EAEU Law in National Law Enforcement Practice” with a report “Customs Regulation: Uniform Application of EAEU Law in National Courts”, in which she spoke about how the implementation of the principles of administrative law affects the practice of application of customs legislation by courts and customs authorities regulation.
