03.04.2015

The round table was held on 31 March 2015, and was organized by the SPIBA Legal discussions club. In her speech, Nina Boer paid special attention to the choice of strategy in case of bankruptcy of counterparty, including assessment of prospects, risks and terms of the procedure, and shared practical experience in conducting bankruptcy cases. Nina elaborated on those not always obvious difficulties faced by lawyers  having little  experience in the field of  bankruptcy cases.

"It is no secret that bankruptcy procedures are often extended for many years and carry high risks for participating companies. This is due to a lot of pitfalls in the procedure of bankruptcy, as well as the fact that regulation in this area is carried out basically by judicial practice. That is why determining a successful strategy in the procedure requires not only knowledge of the law on bankruptcy, but also knowledge of the judicial practice, as well as a real experience in supporting bankruptcy cases"- said Nina.
