Iusland Law Office’s advocate Viktor Andreev made a comment to the Saint Petersburg TV channel regarding the proposal of the Transport Committee to increase fines for the so-called hookers.

The St. Petersburg Committee on Transport has made a proposal to increase the punishment for "hookers" ( this is the name for young people who like to cling to trains and ride them illegally), as well as for crossing railway tracks in the wrong place by 50 times - a fine, from the current 100 rubles to the probable 5000 rubles, or the application of administrative arrest up to 15 days.

Lawyer Viktor Andreev comments: “... now the actual fine provided for this type of offense - 100 rubles, is not even a punishment. And the offense is quite serious ... "
