Advocates of Iusland Law Office Anastasia Cheremchuk and Inna Gorodinskaya obtained an acquittal on one episode and a suspended sentence of imprisonment for the defendant in the case under part 3 and part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Rus

The Smolninsky District Court of St. Petersburg received a case with two episodes - under part 3 of Art. 228.1 and part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs).

The accusation under these paragraphs of the Article provides for imprisonment of 8 years. However, the advocates of Iusland Law Office Anastasia Cheremchuk and Inna Gorodinskaya managed to achieve rare results in this court practice: an acquittal under part 3 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for non-involvement, and a suspended sentence of 7 years under part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code with a sanction of 10 to 20 years in prison. The prosecutor insisted on 13 years in prison for the accused.
