Elena Legashova, Iusland Law Offices’ Managing partner, and Ekaterina Dmitrikova, Iusland Law Offices’ Counsel, made presentations at the round table “Requirements for requirements: principles for establishing and evaluating of application”

10.03.2020 <p>On 3rd of March, 2020, a round table “Requirements for requirements: principles for establishing and evaluating of application” was organized by St. Petersburg State University, at which members of Iusland Law Offices, Managing partner Elena Legashova and Counsel Ekaterina Dmitrikova, made presentations.</p>

<p>Elena Legashova, in her report on the “Problem of Uncertainty of Mandatory Requirements,” spoke of the need to provide a universal rule-principle of legal certainty and the systematic nature of mandatory requirements, which is provided for in the draft law “On Mandatory Requirements in the Russian Federation”. Ekaterina Dmitrikova in her report “Establishing Mandatory Requirements: New Guidelines” talked about the rules for establishing mandatory requirements and value guidelines, set in the framework of the entire reform of control and oversight activities, as well as the need to clarify certain provisions of the draft Bill being discussed.</p>

<p>The round table was held with the participation of Alexey Khersontsev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, head of the Federal Accreditation Service, Alexander Abrosimov, Business Rights Commissioner in St. Petersburg, and Ekaterina Aksenova, Chairman of the Legal Committee of the Administration of the Governor of St. Petersburg.</p>
