American company ExxonMobil filed a lawsuit against Russia in the Stockholm arbitration court demanding repayment of income tax in the amount of $ 500 million, overpaid in the country for six years. Nina Boer, Managing Partner of Iusland Law Offices, gave a comment to RBK television channel on the situation.
"The fact that the case will be considered by Stockholm Arbitration is established in the agreement under which Russia itself has assumed this obligation. Such litigation can drag on for several years, but the likelihood of pre-trial dispute resolution is quite high", - said Nina.
