Iusland Law Office’s advocate Aleksandr Mamyshev commented on the article “Violence against officials: to get an acquittal”, published by the leading Russian legal news portal “Pravo.ru”

According to experts, audio and video recordings should be shared and investigated along with other evidence. “According to Art. 14-15 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, due to the adversarial nature of the parties, the prosecution has an obligation to refute the records submitted by the defense. For example, through phonoscopic examinations and comparison with other evidence”, says Aleksandr.
