Alexander Changli, Partner of Iusland Law Offices, moderated the meeting of Working Group of the Ombudsman for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in St. Petersburg.
On November, 22 the meeting of the Working Group on the questions of the representatives of business-community cooperative and St. Petersburg public authorities and the Business Against Corruption Center of Public Procedures’ joint participation in combating corruption was held. Alexander Changli, Partner of Iusland Law Offices, moderated the meeting.
Alexander Abrosimov - Ombudsman for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in St. Petersburg, Andrew Bochurov - Deputy Chief of the Office on Safety and Anti-Corruption of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, Pavel Chervyakov - Chief of for the Monitoring of the Entrepreneurs’ Rights of Department for Monitoring the Implementation of Legislation in St. Peterburg, representatives of the executive authorities, public organizations and entrepreneurs took part in the meeting.
The meeting discussed questions of enforcement of the Federal Act on countering the legalization (laundering) of the proceeds of crime and the financing of terrorism by credit organizations that related to the bank’s refusal of operation and restraining accounts of the entrepreneurs and also the questions of respect for the entrepreneurs’ rights while requesting information, documentation, etc. by authority by the police forces
Suggestions and recommendations that emerged from the meeting will be forwarded to the Governor of Saint Petersburg Poltavchenko Georgyi and Ombudsman for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in Russian Federation Titov Boris.
